The nursing process is based on a nursing theory developed by Ida Jean Orlando. She developed this theory in the late 1950's as she observed nurses in action. She saw "good" nursing and "bad" nursing.

After so many years working as a nurse and observing my nursing career and my fellow nurses, I learned that formulating a career plan is crucial for a true career satisfaction, and a career plan is also a passport to your destination.

At the Nursing Shepherd, I approach your career pretty much like the nursing process which includes the basic five steps:
