Why do I need a nursing coach?

Professional athletes have agents, movie stars have agents, and I believe that every nurse should have a career coach. In a day of nursing shortage, your nursing skills are your assets or your commodities and I want to help you leverage then so you can get the most out of your career.

As a full time nurse you spend more time working than doing anything else, so spending that time in the best possible position become very important since it will impact the quality of your whole life.

Forming a relationship with a career coach is critical because the coach help the nurse meet professional goals through challenging, developmental tasks and assist the professional nurse to gain more insight into him or herself in order to discover opportunities, and to develop roles that fit in today’s healthcare system.
Coaching skills are now being taught as a highly effective management tool to increase motivation, maintain commitment and enhance performance. Recent research has shown that training alone results in a 22.4% improvement in productivity, yet when combined with coaching productivity has been shown to increase by over 80%.
